How to File a Copyright Removal Request

To submit a valid DMCA takedown request, your message must include all of the following:

  • ✅ Your full legal name and contact information — email address and phone number
  • ✅ A clear description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
  • ✅ The exact URL on MAKHeavens where the infringing content appears
  • ✅ Proof that you are the copyright owner or an authorized representative
  • ✅ A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • ✅ A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • ✅ Your physical or electronic signature

What Happens After You Submit a Request

  • We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 2–3 business days
  • Valid requests will be reviewed and acted on within 5–7 business days
  • If the content is confirmed to be infringing, it will be removed or corrected promptly
  • Incomplete or false requests will not be processed and may be disregarded

Counter-Notice Process

If you believe content was removed from MAKHeavens incorrectly — meaning the removal was based on a mistaken or false claim — you may file a counter-notice.

A valid counter-notice must include:

  • Your full name and contact information
  • Identification of the content that was removed and its original URL
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal court
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringer Policy

MAKHeavens will terminate the accounts or access of users who are found to repeatedly infringe on the copyrights of others, in line with the requirements of the DMCA and our Terms of Use.

Protecting Our Own Content
